Summer Camps Below!
Ginger Snap Camps, Ages 3-6
Take a break this summer and send your little dancers to Camp “Ginger Snap!” These Theme Based camps will run for 5 consecutive days, Monday through Friday for 2.5 hours. We will have morning camps from 9:00-11:30am and afternoon camps from 12:00-2:30pm. the themes this summer will be Under The sea Adventures, Teddy Bear Dance Camp and Princess Party Time! Descriptions of each camp are below.
the camps will be taught by our wonderful Mrs. Amy Mackall. The camps will include theme-based dance classes, stories, crafts, a video, snacks, and an end-of-the-week performance for parents! The Discounted cost of the camp is $169 and is due at the time of registration.

Are your little ones ready for an underwater adventure like no other? We’re offering a 5-day Under The Sea Adventure Dance Camp for young students ages 3-6! This camp will be filled with plenty of fun and exciting ocean themed activities, songs, arts and crafts, and stories based on popular Disney characters from the sea, such as Ariel from The Little Mermaid, Moana, and Nemo. Your kids will learn a special dance that they can showcase to their families on the last day of camp. Teddy Bear Dance Camp

Join us for a paw-some time at our 5-day Teddy Bear Dance Camp! Designed for 3-6 year olds, this camp is the perfect opportunity for your little ones to bond with their new furry friend. On the first day, each dancer will adopt a teddy bear to be their partner throughout the week. With a variety of dance activities and games planned each day, campers will have a blast learning new moves and having fun with their teddy. The highlight of the week will be the final day performance, where campers will showcase their dance skills with their teddy bears in front of their proud parents. Princess Party Time Dance Camp

Join us for our magical 5-day Princess Party Time Dance Camp! Little ones ages 3-6 years old are invited to come to our enchanting dance camp, where they will have the chance to sing and dance with some of their favorite Disney Princesses. Each day they will create special arts and crafts, read delightful stories, and even join in some fun and games with Elsa, Anna, Cinderella, Tangled, and Belle. On the final day, all participants will have the opportunity to perform their dance routine in front of their parents, with their favorite princesses. This is an experience that your child won’t want to miss!

Unleash your inner gymnast and soar to new heights with agility at our summer acrobatics camp for dancers! Our experienced and highly trained acrobatic instructors are ready to teach your 7-10 year old dancer fundamental skills that will focus on building strength, flexibility, coordination and balance all in a fun and safe environment. With the use of progressions, your dancers will have the opportunity to learn at their individual level because skills will be broken down into steps that are easy to understand. Safety is our top priority and your dancer will be in the best hands with our professional educators who emphasize correct technique and are able to spot students as needed. Welcome to Metropolitan Academy of Dance’s 5-day Musical Theater MADness Dance camp for students ages 7-10! This camp is designed to provide participants with a high-quality education in technique-based dance training, as well as an emphasis on stage presence and character performance. Campers will get to learn dances to some of Disney's favorite musicals like Descendants, Teen Beach Movie and Zombies.
Throughout the camp, our experienced instructors will help students master the basics of musical theater dance. Campers will learn the fundamentals of various styles of dance, as well as how to express character through movement. They will also work on choreography and performance techniques.
We are confident that this camp will provide an enriching and enjoyable experience for campers of all levels.

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced dancer, our amazing teachers will help you refine your skills and take your dancing to the next level. Are you looking for a fun and engaging summer experience while learning the fundamentals of ballet? Look no further than our Summer Ballet Camp for teens ages 11 and up! Our camp provides beginner to intermediate dancers with a safe and enjoyable environment to grow their beautiful ballet skills and improve their overall artistry. Our highly trained instructors will ensure that you develop proper technique through barre exercises, across the floor combinations. It will be a fun opportunity that brings out the bun head in you!

Company Camp
COMPANY DANCERS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND THIS WORKSHOP. COMPANY CAMP WILL RUN MONDAY, JUNE 19 THROUGH FRIDAY, JUNE 23. CLASSES WILL BEGIN AT 10:00 AM AND RUN UNTIL 4:00 PM. This workshop is intended to be a fun week filled with classes, conditioning, team building, and a culminating choreography dance project that will be put on the website. Dancers will need to register for the camp by June 1st. The camp fee is due upon registration. Autopay will not be run for camps. Please remit payment upon registration.
All Dancers in attendance will be receiving a Company Camp gift!
Dancers should bring a water bottle and a sack lunch each day.
Company Summer Intensive
COMPANY MEMBERS ARE REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS WORKSHOP!
The Summer Intensive is for dancers in ALL Company classes. The Intensive will run Monday, July 17 - Friday, July 21. Specific class schedules are based on Company Placement or teacher recommendation. THIS WORKSHOP WILL BE AN INTENSIVE EXPERIENCE and feature, seasoned instructors, with a variety of professional training and dance backgrounds. It is planned to enhance and strengthen technique and style while having fun! Dancers should bring a water bottle and a sack lunch each day. MAD MOMs will provide pizza for lunch on Friday. Dancers will need to register for the camp by July 1st. The camp fee is due upon registration. Autopay will not be run for camps.
