CLASSROOM ATTIRE

Ladies: Students age 7 and older must wear a solid-colored leotard and light pink tights for all classes. Jazz pants are permitted for jazz classes, providing they are snug and not so long that they make the dancer trip. Street clothes are not permitted in any class.. Children aged 3-6 may wear any color or design leotard and tights. All students must have hair pulled back away from the face in a bun, French braid or short ponytail, for all classes. Jewelry should not be worn to class

Gentlemen: White T-shirt, black tights.

SHOES: Pink ballet slippers (white or black for boys), tan jazz shoes, black tap shoes. Children's tap shoes must be secured with elastic fasteners. Please label all children's shoes.

No food or gum is allowed in the classroom.

ATTENDANCE

Dance training must be consistent if it is to be effective. Our curriculum is designed to carry each student forward, each class. Students have the privilege of making up classes missed for illness or injury, but only when the school has been notified in advance. Makeup classes must be taken during the month they are missed and must be scheduled in advance with the office.

In case of inclement weather, please call the studio for a recorded message which will inform you of any cancellations.
